Event Planning

If you’ve ever tried organizing an event on your own, you know it’s much more than just picking the right venue and food. It takes many details to pull off a great event. If that sounds overwhelming and you don’t want to use precious staff resources, I can do it for you.

I have planned and managed events of all types and sizes:

For starters, I’ll help you establish the event objectives – are you gathering your guests to celebrate an accomplishment, educate them, make an announcement, raise money for a worthy cause or simply to reward them for a job well done.  We’ll also discuss what success looks like for you.

Next we’ll work together to develop your event vision, budget, and timeline and, yes, do some taste testing along the way.

Tracy was key to the success of our event with close to 200 people. Her eye for detail, excellent communication and organization skills were the best I have ever seen. Since Forest Lakes is an active construction site, Tracy at times had to quickly adapt to development timelines while working with event suppliers and creating a welcoming and seamless event. Having Tracy involved in this event was reassuring as she is a calming and rational force. People on her team enjoyed working with her and we definitely will call upon her services again.

We hired Tracy Ashley who did a wonderful job working with ourvolunteer organizing committee to ensure a successful 10th Annual Coady Celebrates Gala Dinner in Halifax. For Coady International Institute, this event continues to be an important event to build relationships with Coady Institute’s supporters and showcase the work done internationally to our loyal friends and donors in our community. We were particularly pleased with the results she achieved with our silent auction. Tracy coordinated our most successful auction to-date, with approximately $12,000 raised from this portion of the event alone.
