I’ve had the pleasure of working with really great businesses and organizations over the years, including:

Here’s what a few of them had to say about working with me and the work we’ve accomplished together.

Tracy was an absolute pleasure to work with. As a volunteer non-profit group, it is difficult to find someone with the expertise that was required for our event. Tracy served as an excellent project coordinator, who was willing to go above and beyond the call of duty, and played an integral role in our event’s success.  I would definitely recommend her to help lead your next project.

~ Kody Blois, President of the East Hants Sport Heritage Society

This is INCREDIBLE coverage – your efforts really paid off! You knocked this one out of the ballpark! You completely exceeded our expectations and I personally loved working with you over this event! You are so professional, yet laid back and it made for a wonderful fit into our organization.

~ Heather McGrath, The BIG SWIM event coordinator

I’ve had the chance to work with Tracy on several occasions: we were at the same consulting firm, and later she acted as a consultant for my corporate team. Tracy sweats details and anticipates the strange stuff that comes out of the blue. She’s a strong practitioner with lots of experience, and skills in many areas: event planning and management, marketing, public relations. Happy to recommend her!

~ Gerald Weseen, Vice President US Government Affairs, Emera

We are very pleased with the work completed by Tracy Ashley Communications, her professionalism and attention to detail are excellent. The recent client profiles that she completed for our corporation were well written and exactly what we were looking for. As a result of this we have since retained her firm to complete another profile and will be using her services again in the future when needed. It has been a pleasure working with Tracy and I look forward to continuing our working relationship in the future.

~ Erinn Smith, Chief Administrative Officer, Nova Scotia Association of Community Business Development Corporations

I’ve worked with Tracy in a few different capacities over the years and could list many reasons as to why I would hire her, but here are just a few. First, she has the kind of varied PR experience needed to execute a communications plan to the exact specifications of YOUR project and marketing objectives. No time is wasted, she returns emails and phone calls almost immediately, and everything will be delivered on budget, with regular updates along the way. She is also wonderful to work with: friendly, caring and eager to help you. If you can’t hire an in-house communications specialist, Tracy is the next best thing; even after the project is complete, she will continue to look out for your brand through media monitoring and support.

~ Janna MacGregor, Communications Manager, Centre for Women in Business

We hired Tracy Ashley who did a wonderful job working with our volunteer organizing committee to ensure a successful 10th Annual Coady Celebrates Gala Dinner in Halifax. For Coady International Institute, this event continues to be an important event to build relationships with Coady Institute’s supporters and showcase the work done internationally to our loyal friends and donors in our community. We were particularly pleased with the results she achieved with our silent auction. Tracy coordinated our most successful auction to-date, with approximately $12,000 raised from this portion of the event alone.

~ Kathleen Provost, Associate Director, Fund Development and Communications Coady International Institute

Tracy Ashley is the complete consultant. From immediately understanding the complexity of my project to creating and executing detailed plans. From her writing to managing our time together, from working with diverse people with her positive and energetic personality to simply delivering, a fantastic final product, it has been such a great experience to work with Tracy.

~ Dr. Rob Rutledge, Chair and CEO, Healing and Cancer Foundation

Tracy managed and contributed to a variety of projects through her work with Nova Scotia Power. The projects ranged from internal communications, to events, to video production, to traditional public relations, to media relations. Tracy was always professional and a pleasure to work with. She met deadlines and the quality of her work was excellent. At times, we had Tracy working as an extension of our in-house team and she was able to perform in this role as if she was a full-time employee. She builds relationships easily and delivers a quality product.

~ Jennifer Parker, Senior Director, Communications and Public Affairs, Nova Scotia Power

I had the pleasure of working with Tracy on a major event for over 1,000 people. To say that Tracy’s experience was an asset would be an understatement. Her attention to detail is second to none and her calm & competent demeanor was such a help. I would not hesitate to recommend Tracy for any of your event planning needs ~ she’s truly a skilled professional!

~ Angela Blencowe, then Executive Assistant to the President & CEO, Nova Scotia Power

I had the pleasure of meeting Tracy back in the fall of 2007 when she was brought on as a communications consultant for an energy efficiency initiative that I was managing at Nova Scotia Power.  Her original project was only to last four months, but we ended up retaining her as a consultant for another three years. During her time at Nova Scotia Power she worked for a number of departments, including mine.  I was always pleased with her work so when our department identified that we needed fulltime communications support, I requested Tracy.  She managed our communications and marketing for two years until the planned transfer of responsibility of energy efficiency program administration to Efficiency Nova Scotia.

As the sole marketing professional for the first eight months at Efficiency Nova Scotia she again went to work to lay the groundwork for successful promotions. Tracy always works in a professional manner, provides sound advice, and takes great pride in her work. Her ability to see the big picture and not lose track of the details is very impressive and has been key to our success in many situations.  As Manager of Conservation and Energy Efficiency at Nova Scotia Power and now Chief Technical Officer at Efficiency Nova Scotia I have watched Tracy grow over the years as a professional and consultant and would highly recommend her services.

~ John Aguinaga, Chief Technical Officer, Efficiency Nova Scotia

Tracy works hard, is extremely capable, and was an excellent mentor to me. I know her to be an extremely dedicated professional who is kind, fun, and knowledgeable, and always conducts herself with tact and class. Tracy is a very talented writer and editor, has great attention to detail, and juggles multiple projects and deadlines better than anyone I know. I highly recommend her.

~ Jeff Graham, former Marketing Specialist, Efficiency Nova Scotia

As Marketing & Communications Manager at Efficiency Nova Scotia, Tracy was wonderful to work with. She is very thorough, taking the time to fully understand the background of a project to come up with the best solution. She is also lovely to deal with, pleasant and caring, and always willing to include the concerns of all working groups involved.

~ Natasha Fillmore, Manager, Customer Experience, Efficiency Nova Scotia
